Hello, I am experimenting with exporting MXF DV 50 to QuickTime H.264 using Media Composer. My problem is that the colors are missing warmth. If you look at the export without seeing the original, you would probably not notice it, but still. I tried higher bitrates or highest compression quality and...

Once I have digitized my source at 10-1, is there a wya to create a QT with a timecode window that reflects the source and not a timeline? And how long does it take. I have project that has 950-1000 tapes which hold right around a hundred hours of interviews. I have been using in house trasncribers with...

If I export a uncompressed (I have to do uncompressed because it's xdcam footage) qt movie- then compress it in Sorenson to a qucktime with MPEG4 audio- the audio plays too fast. The quicktime that came from Avid is fine- or appears to be fine- meaning audio plays at the correct speed, I didn't...

I ran into the same problem too. This is a QuickTime problem. Unfortunately I couldn't find any settings in QT or in com.apple.QuickTime.plist which points the temp file into another disk. The only solution was to repartitionate the C:. PP

Here's an interesting dilemma. I will digitize video from a DVD into Final Cut because for some reason, the audio will not come through directly into avid. Then I will export the file without any compression, and when the avid imports it, the images are much darker. Any suggestions? Thank you

Dan, I am having the same or similar issue with 3.1.1 MC. Did you find a solution? AVID Support thinks it is my graphics card. I have a new one on order just waiting for it to show up. When I load the title into the source window I see black when it is stopped or I am scrubbing accross it. Same thing...
