  • Importing P2 - Comes up offline from start

    Hi Guys, Just learning the whole p2 process. I just successfully brought in 24p P2 footage, but every time I try to import footage I shot at 720P/30PN into a 720p/29.97 project, the clip comes up offline. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

    You can't have two same masterclips of P2 origin in opened bins even if one is pointing to original data and the second to consolidated. I found it in my tests.There is another problem: the consolidated P2 files are not connected to original files at all. For me works flawlesly to copy original data...

    Possible cause is that imported P2 media are in your Avid MediaFiles structure more than once accros your disks. How did you obtain the data for importing? Did you mount the P2 card or did you use their copy on a disk? Where are your original data now? Are those data on disk which is connected to your...
