  • OSX dual mac boot (MC3 and FCP) - how?

Hi, I've heard of people partitioning their MacBook Pro so that they could run the correct versions of quicktime and OS X to use both Media Composer and Final Cut Studio to their full functionality. Does anyone know how to do this? My MBP is brand new, and I have all OS installation disks etc......

  • Color Correction doesn't work

By the color correction toolset I can't see any changes on the monitor. The correction is done, but I can see this just when I am running the clip on the source/record editing toolset. Did someone have an idea why does that happens? Is there any solution for it?

  • Multiple formats in MC 2.7 and 3.0

I'm running MC 2.7 on my Mac Pro and am considering upgrading to 3.0. This is because I'm beginning a project that will be utilizing both HD and SD formats; capturing footage from old VHS tapes, Mini-DV cassetes, P2 HD cards and transferred Spuer 16mm. What are the actual advantages of 3.0? Is...

  • Help I'm cutting on site! importing graphics into MC 3.0 on MBP

I have a new MacBook Pro with Leopard 10.5.3 and QuickTime 7.5. I plan to upgrade my Xpress Pro 4.3.1 to MC 3.0. Am I correct in thinking I need to uninstall 7.5 and install 7.4.5 in order for this to work? I am new to all of this, have read most of the postings here, and it seems this is the only thing...

  • Re: Two Monitor Problem

Have you tried just dragging the AXP window over to the Gateway monitor? My MC starts on the MBP screen, then I just drag it over to my main 24" LCD and go to work. If you can't do that, you may have a configuration error. Just go to Preferences under the Apple menu, then Hardware>Displays>Arrangement...
