P2 import (clips to bin and manual)

Hey all, First things first. Running 5.8.0 on OS 10.4.10. G5 (4x 2.5GHz PPC) and 2.5 GB RAM. Quicktime is 7.2. Does that cover? Anyhow, trying to bring in some P2 footage into a project that will have both 30i and 59.94. I set up the project at 30i, hoping to go between the formats within the project...

p2 timecode and transcripts

We are currently looking into shooting on P2 HD for the upcoming season of a reality show on PBS. Last season the show was on tape and we were heavily heavily reliant on transcripts to find material. How does the timecode/transcription process work with P2 media? Does the shooter need to assign tape...
