Export commercial as qt or MPEG for broadcast

What formats are you currently using to FTP files to TV stations for broadcast? What are your settings and workflow? I've tested both MPEG and DV Compressed quicktimes- the black level in the quicktimes look high and the video is washed out. I've been using the send to> encoding and then using...

Importing Large MPEG files cut off at 24;00;;00

I received some 1 hour long 720P footage that was captured as MPEGs in Premier Pro on a Mac computer. When I import them into Avid MC on a PC they are cut off at 24;00;00 - all of them. When I load them into TMPEG Enc I still see that they are in fact 60 mins long, so it seems to be Avid that is cutting...
