    Hi, I just installed MC8 and downloaded the Avid codecs packages. Mostly I want to use DNxHD 36 and 175 which don't automatically come with it but I don't know how to install them. Thanks for your help!

  • Does anyone know what would cause this???

    This is a problem I have been having for a while. A bunch of my parameters are unavailable. lots of people have suggested that I make sure I have a keyframe selected. As you can see from the image, I have an active keyframe and still a lot of my sliders are unavailable. I never had this issue with MC4...

    If the place you're sending the video to can import Avid codec QuickTimes, your best bet is to export out "Same as Source". Unless things have changed with the codec, they're free to distribute, so you could send along the codec as well.
