  • Might purchase Canon XH A1, avid import 24p?

    Hi, My question is if I shoot 24p (canon's XH A1 calls it "24f") to tape (hdv 1080) will I be able to import the 24p footage into avid's 24p timeline? Selecting 1080 23.976p (there is no 1080 23.976p HDV). I'm runnign v2.8.1 :( due to the time of purchase (from academic superstore...

  • Pseudo Timelapse

    The long GOP structure of HDV make life difficult if you want to create a timelapse video. The workaround I use is done by taking a video of the complete event then use the Motion Effect Editor to create the effect by timewarping. Regards, Douglas
