Have you ever needed to fill your frame using LetterBox or PillarBox material. This tutorial makes use of expressions and DVE nodes to fill the frame without losing pixels. It makes use of DVE nodes and expressions to scale selected parts of the frame.

Avid DS - Build a Glow Preset

Most third party plugin packages contain some variant of glow filter. Once you understand how this effect works it is easy to build one from scratch and customize it in Avid DS.
