If you deleted the media you ain't going to find it again.

Load the clip at the preview monitor. What ever you uncheck the other(s) will go to timeline.

I have many times problems capturing with my HV30 and Avid.

With AMA as I understand it, any clips are linked and they are not imported(until consolidate them). So they are not QT files but the original sources. It is normal not to be able to export through it (AMA) a QT ref file or anything else.

I use both Magic Bullet Looks 1.2 and Editors v2 with 3.1.3.2 without a problem. And the great thing is that Looks which are excellent and you can achive any possible combination from color to lenses distortions ARE RT.

I am editing from time to time a TV show at which I am doing subtitling at HD trailers. The final project is as yours, SD. I use the import options I show you for the imported HD clips.
