SYS_ERROR means it's an OS X error, not an Avid error. -50 is a vague error (" Error in user parameter list") but it can sometimes occur when OS X thinks a disk is in use when it isn't.

It does not update the bin IDs but Avid doesn't appear to mind from my testing. Here's an example template that Avid will recognize if saved to your project directory: Note: "Template" is a keyword that causes Post Haste to replace it with the entire project name. You can also insert variables in square brackets such as [project].

QT Edit will remove timecode tracks in a batch.

It's easy to delete these tracks in QuickTime Player 7 or QT Edit.
