  • Re: L7 Activation refused.

Ian, Examples of other companies/products using Activation are: Microsoft Windows XP and all Adobe and Macromedia products. Adobe and Macromedia set your activation limit to one (although they do have a nice system for deactivating). We have been running this activation since version 6 and there are one important things of note: - If you reach the activation

  • Re: L7 Activation refused.

There is no charge for activation if you exceed the limit. This is done free of charge after reaching what we believe is a much more reasonable limit than the 1 that other companies use. If you have a screen shot of this, I would like to see it. I am not saying that it is not possible as we share the server and the codes with some other products but

  • Liquid SP 2- Update 22 Feb.

Apologies for the late update but this is my first chance to get on my PC to post. Good news and bad news. Good news is is that SP2 is ready for release. The bad news is is that we did not get our paperwork done to post the file today. We have to get an official report in from QA verifying the release and this did not get done in time to be posted.

  • SP2 Update - Feb. 16

So here is today's update. We did not make the 16th. We did complete our internal QA check, which does take some time. That was completed this morning. We are now doing a mini-beta to check that everything we see as fixed is indeed fixed. Based on current plans we will monitor the status of the testing over the weekend, check in on Monday (not a holiday

  • Avid Liquid SP2 - Feb. 10 Update

We are making good progress on the SP2 update. However we still have one open issue we are chasing down. We believe we can resolve quickly. We will do a quick check with beta testers as well as continuing to work the SP through our QA team. As of today, we forecast posting SP2 on February 16. If there are changes to the plan, I will update. Take care

  • Re: No video after Liquid 7 upgrade

Are you using SP1? Does other video show the same issues?

  • Re: An Interesting Observation While Installing the LE7 Upgrade

Two things: 1. If you have a version of a Liquid upgrade that validates with a Studio upgrade, the most likely explanation is a production or shipping error (wrong product was sent to fulfill an order). 2. TDK Pro was going to be offered to v7 customers all along. The distribution method was decided late in the game. We left TDK RT as the default because

  • Re: How can I add an AFX PlugIn to AL7

All, I would say you would have very little luck getting AE plug-ins to work in Liquid. While the Commotion plug-ins were written as AE plug-ins originally, they were written to a version of the AE plug-in API that is a few revs behind the current generation. Any success you have getting AE plug-ins to work in Liquid will be coincidence (that plug-in
