the Legacy Media Composer version matrix PDF on this KB article page says that mc8.5.3 is supported on win10 64. win11 was 100% never tested, as MC8.5.3 came out....5 years earlier. https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/compatibility/en267087 YMMV may vary with which versions of win10 play nice, 8.5.3 was probably tested with build 1507,
