Being able to manipulate NTFS files outside Windows can get you over a multitude of problems. And if you're comfortable with shell scripts you can build your own customised backup utility, too.

For what it's worth, Vista allows a response equivalent to "No to all". But I love the Midnight Commander suggestion, luca!

Borotu, you PM'd me about this same question, but since this might of interest to other users I've chosen to answer through the forum. The earlier thread that you refer to is not the same as your current problem. In both the PM and here you've shown the path mentioned in the error message as Z:/AvidMediFiles//MXF/creatings/filename. [quote user="AndrewAction"]I have done this (replacing just one drive) in the last couple of months and now have a second drive from the original 4 starting to play up. (both out of the 5 year Avid drive warranty) So I will replace all 4 next this time using the one relatively new one as an un striped drive for audio or DV or HDV projects

You can also use the v2 effects to control the parameters that you keyframe. If you don't know what v2 effects are, try clicking on the little pink mini-timeline icon at the bottom right of the effects tool. Once you're there you can delete all keyframes, delete selected keyframes, and/or delete redundant keyframes. That way since you only calculate
