  • is there any way to enable auto keyframes

I often create size and position changes with titles, but it's a pain to always have to add start and end keyframes. I realize the last few versions of MC haven't had it, but is there any way to have that option? Effect editor settings doesn't seem to have it. Thanks.

  • CC window won't save across two screens

Perhaps a weird question, but I just switched from MC7 to 8.10, and though I can still enlarge my 3-window CC display to stretch over two screens, it won't seem to save that way as a workspace as it did on MC7. If I save it, when I return to the workspace, it has reduced back to original size to fit one screen. Am I missing something? And while

  • 25p support

Hi there. I have Media Composer 8.10, but I needed a second system just to train someone on Media Composer and practice some technique before investing in another license. So I realized that MC First would potentially be a great solution. But I was shocked to discover that of all the frame rates included, the only maintstream one NOT there is 25p, even

I've never had a support plan. I bought the software before support plan/ subcription plans started. So it's a software activated (non dongle) perpetual license for MC7. It's possible the term perpetual license wasn't used at that stage. Thanks!

  • Crossgrade from MC7 to latest MC8.

I know I know. Just wondering if there's anyway to get some value from my existing MC7 software on the crossgrade/upgrade to latest version 8 in any form (perpetual or sub). I've been using MC7 on a perpetual license with no problems. But as you all know I'm trapped in Yosemite. Staying on the old OS is proving a burden. I recently bought

  • Using new sequence from mirrored project on another drive

I'm working with an international client. A client sent me a drive with original media. I've been working on that external drive all the way through fine cut. For various reasons, I'm needing to send that original drive back to them with the Fine cut and the original media to them today. However tomorrow I'm needing to do some final

  • Re: Zoom during playback in source monitor

Thanks for your responses. Yes I did have "do not resize" checked, mainly from importing stills and not wanting them to be stretched in ways that mit them hard to get back to original aspect. That solved the problem. I also didn't know about the framflex option. So in short both of these solved my problem. So thanks.

  • Zoom during playback in source monitor

Is it possible to maintain a zoom during playback in the source monitor? I'm trying to subclip a lot of source footage that was given to me in small sizes, making it a pain to subclip. As we all know, you can enlarge in the source window, but it reverts to normal size during playback. I could create sequences for each of them, but don't want

  • Re: help for urgent problem

All the source footage is H.264 and that's the codec I'm using to export. So I'm suprised quicktime isn't handling it.
