OK so do the Nvidia Quatro cards work in the Windows based PC's and do the Nvidia GEFORCE cards also work in the Windows based PC's and what about Nvidia NVS cards? Also the specs state that the minimum requirements for processor are Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz, will an Intel Pentium Processor work with 2.66 GHz and will and AMD processor work

The reason I am asking is that most of the models that Avid qualifies are discontinued and I am looking for a new desktop. the HP XW8400 is discontinued on HP site.
