Exactly, they were not mounted when the titles were rendered. However, when I mounted them and played back the sequence, all media appeared offline where the titles were placed. As I said before, recreating the titles solved the problem because they were recreated with media actually there!

Thanks Kenton, but I assure the titles were not offline. I could see them plain as day during playback, only thy were over offline media. When the titles were renedered with out the media drives mounted, they rendered with the offline media in the background. But, the words from the titles themselves were visible.

FYI: I found out that my assistant rendered all the titles with the media drives ejected, hence the offline media appearing only under the rendered titles. Recreating the titles with the media online was the only solution I found. Everything back to normal. P.S. My apologies for posting under the PC forum. Hadn't realized I'd done that until
