Any proof you mighthave that what you are saying is true ? because I have always been told by technicians that in NTSC "upper field " is that correct way.

I am trying to install media composer 3.5 on a mac boook pro . It says that the installation was sucessful but I keep getting an error message that says : " Segmentation fault " in thread "main Thread " , at address 0x0 . ( along with a spinning circular rainbow ). Does anyone know what the problem is here and can it be corrected

One more quwstion . . .. Under settings in the Key Frames tab should I use Automatic / Every / All , and if I do use EVERY what number of frames should I enter for HD and for HDV ? Thanks

Here is what I did : (1) Set an in / out points of the clip in the time line (2) File > export > (3) Save as : clip name .mov (4) Save to : desktop (5) Export setting : Send to QT movie (6) Save

I would like to record a voice track to the timeline of my mac book pro from Avid media composer 3.5 . I have tried everything and still cannot get the track to record into timeline , Is there a way to do this correctly ? Thanks very much.
