Reason, There are two types of media files the Media Composer can read. MXF and OMFI. MXF live in the AvidMediaFiles/MXF folder strusture while OMF media needs to be in the OMFI MediaFiles folder. So basically you have the OMF media in the MXF folder which Avid will not be able to handle. This link may explain it better for you: http://avid.custkb.com

Should be fully compatible. What are you doing when you get the error? Can you post the full error or a screen grab of the error?

Is this when you are trying to use the plugs? If so I would recommend an uninstall/reinstall as TCurren suggested. If not get us some more details.

What is your graphics card driver version? If you open a new project with new test media do the plugs still crash?
