ya I changed the compatibility to Windows 98 just so i could install avid... How do I delete the audio?

Hi, My OP system is Windows Vista 32-bit, AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 4000+ 2.60GHz, RAM 767 MB. I believe I have Quicktime 6.1? installed. I would like to add in my own music to my editing. So what I was trying to do was just seperate my mixed video so that I could import my own audio. So i tried to export video only, but then the errcode 8961 popped

I am new to this... I tried to export the video from a mixed clip in Avid Free DV by clicking "Export", then selecting "Video Only" in the options... But when I go ahead with the export up pops an error box " errcode; 8961 ". Help?!

ok, Is there somewhere I can dowmload an older version of quicktime?

My OS is Windows Vista... im not sure which version of quicktime I have it just says quicktime installer.

I have Quicktime installed on my computer already, but everytime I log on to Avid Free DV, I get the following message: "Quicktime is not installed on this system, it is strongly recommended you install it. Some effects will not function properly without it. ". And when I try to import any type of files (quicktimes, mpgs, avi) I get this message
