How are your file counts?

Am I correct you have been working for weeks with MC3 in this config without any problem?

As far as I know the Intel 1000MT does not work correctly for the portserver. (why would an Alachritech be needed). Cause I also have some portserver issues and have had some help from Doc Avid who's explained some things to me I believe the error you are getting is from the metadata watchdog. Basically your Lanshare is not saving what you are doing

Hi, do you have any fibre clients?

Sorry Jef, You're right. I forgot we're talking Kia Pro here not Kona... just disregard

So if AJA wants the ability to decode DNxHD, that is for free. If they also want to encode DNxHD they need to pay a license fee. Why is AJA then not implementing the DNxHD decoder ?
-
Reading this thread again, a question popped up. Aren't all codec decoders always free and codec encoders protected by some kind of license agreement and therefor paid ? Is this also the case with DNxHD codec from avid?

Like you guys said. The moral of your posts has been posted many times before, for about 3-4 years I guess. If you include into the "open hardware" discussion also the pro-tools hardware you could even say 10 years. From several, mails, interviews and other outings it seems clear to me the message has arrived in Tewksbury but till this day

[quote user="BLKDOG"] I'm confused about a couple of things. First, did you try to get an Avid support contract? The reason I ask is, we can get you covered TODAY if you want one. There is absolutely no reason that this should take even a week to accomplish. With that support contract, you have access to our entire team in Europe/EMEA
