I am having trouble doing a video mixdown. I have a 1 and 21 minute timeline and I'mtrying to mixdown in segments. It won't even mixdown a 6 minute segment without giving me a inssufficient memory error. I s there anyway to troubleshoot this?

I have a project I am wanting to burn to DVD that is edited in HD. Is putting the 16x9 reformat on it the only way to get it to burn to DVD? I have also tried flattening my video tracks, without putting the 16x9 reformat effect on and exported it as 16x9, but the version of Adobe Encore(CS2) I have won't accept 853x480. Do I have any other options

I have a 300 DPI .Tif file that I want to import into Avid. What is the best way to import it without losing any quality?

I am having some trouble dumping my timeline to tape. I have done this several times, but now it's not showing up on my deck. I am using a Sony GV-HD700 deck. I tried to use the Digital Cut tool, but it's not allowing me to click on it. Any Help is appreciated p.s. It's still allowing me to to cature video from the deck. Thanks

I am trying to make a picture I cropped out in photoshop move around using the Pan and Zoom effect, on a map i imported into Avid. Everytime I try to do it though, it has a white background. Is there anyway to just use the portion of the picture I cropped out? I saved it as a PSD without a background. If I just lay the picture on a seperate video track

I recently started using the Sony Z1U HDV camera. On past projects when it gets time to export my timeline to tape, I always put the 16x9 reformat effect on all of my HD clips. When I do this the video loses alot of it's orginal quality. Is there anyway to leave my footage in HDV and get it on a DVD without losing so much quality? Thanks

I am having trouble figuring out the Pan and Zoom feature in Avid. Everytime I drop the effect on a photo, the picture disappears.

I am having truble importing avi files correctly into Xpress Pro. When I play the AVI files in WMP they play flawlessly. After I import them into Avid there is a motion blur on all the clips. Any suggestions?

I imported a few mp3's into avid, but some of them will not play. I keep getting the following message: AudioSampMoveHelper::ConfigureRes For Use() Error 558 unable to: perform Sample Rate Conversion due to a lack of samples in the stream. Thanks
