I tried creating a standalone qucktime movie from the sequence that can be played on another computer. I put the video compression to h.264 (anyone please tell me if this is the format I ought to use), but don't know what audio setting should be. I tried exporting one qt movie with the defualt audio setting, the audio playback is choppy. Suggestion

I tried creating titles using the title tool then dropped it onto the V2 track. Problem is, sometime it works without a problem, videos on the V1 track show through the title screen; however, sometimes the title is against a black background blocking the V1 track. I cannot see the pattern how it happens. Any ideas what went wrong here? I'm using

Per the reply I got, I was able to type in the numbers in the Record monitor and move the position indicator forward. I want to apply a fade in/out transition on two audio clips, but could not find where the audio effect folder is.

I do can see three monitors in color correction mode, but when I right click on the previous window, all I have is "reference current", "hide video", "16:9 video", and "What's this?", nothing more and nothing else.

I did but all I see in color correction mode is the hsl and curves tabs at the top, and under hsl tab there are three color wheels and some slide bars; either way, I could not find the waveform monitor and other monitors such as vector monitor.

okay, i was able to access the audio tool and check for the peak levels of the audio clip. it seems the reference is set at -14 as it corresponds to 0 on the right side. My knowledge with the old VU meter is that you should not let the audio peaks above 0db, so in MC, does that mean I should control for the audio level so it stays consistently below
