    I ended up putting in a cheap Soundblaster card, Audigy value I think was it's name. So far all seems good but I have nothing to judge that against. T.O

    Hi Randall, I was getting worried I thought there was an acronym I missed. That was the tutorial I watched and I rewached. I must be doing something wrong. Now I am PC based and have XP. When I choose AAF in Browser 2 and follow his steps I end up where Avid tells me the media is offline. Any idea where I am screwing up? T.O.

    Hello again, well the last few weeks have been interesting but the computer is up and running. Installed XP, Avid Composer 3,Clip Browser 2. I think I looked at too many tutorials and possibly confused myself. However I have managed to open Avid and started a new project. NB: I am software based only I don’t have Mojo or any other stuff like that

    Update: After more testing it looks like I have a sick Mother Board, No choice i will take it back and start again. I also wanted to ask you folks, have I now got a system good enough to run the Avid Composer editing software on?     Well I have contacted intel support and they got me to do a bios recovery with a file download from their site. I followed their instuctions and I think something tried to happen. As the recovery was happening my laser mouse and keyboard was recognised as being on a usb port? Then nothing more happened. Closed it down put the bios jumper back in place
