If there was a "best" format you would know, because everybody would use it :) You have to answer a few questions to yourself: -Should it be a downloadable or streaming video? If streaming video just use vimeo or youtube. -How important is quality? If quality matters use h.264 or any other modern codec (not old sorenson, ...) -How important

Hello everyone, i like to connect an external harddrive via esata to a HP X400 workstation. What would be the best way to do that? A pcie estata card, or can i just use a slot bracket adaptor to extend a internal sata port? (no hotswap needed). I can't find any infos on the official avid documents regarding esata. regards Udo

I highly recommend these paper from tektronix: "Preventing illegal colors" "Understanding colors and gamut" and this book by Charles Poynton: "Digital Video and HDTV" Udo

You can see it on a waveform monitor immediately. You don't see a thin straight line, but a noisy thick line. If i capture

This has to do with a windows feature called video overlay . With video overlay , you write the videodata directly to the graphicsadapter-memory (very fast). The playback windows uses overlay, the title tool seams not to do so. You can tweak the video settings (brightness etc.) in the NVIDIA-driver. Look in the readme file of your MC installation to
