Okay, I was really excited about the ability to mix frame rates because we shoot everytihng with the RED at 23.98 but still deliver a lot of things at SD. We do the entire edit at 1080 23.98Psf and at the end we bring it into a 30i(29.97) project. and bingo... the sequence is duplicated and converted to SD 29.97. Everything is downconverted but squeezed

I am doing a large project in a rented Nitris Media Composer in HD1080i 59.94. The last project I did I brought in everything at DNxHD145 and it looked great. Our normal workflow here in our Meridien Media Composers is to work at lo rez (20:1) and then finish at 1:1. That is our paradigm. I have much more material on this next project and want to work

I downloaded a free trial version of the Microc o sm decoder, placed it in my Quicktime library and restarted my Nitris DX and the imported High Def graphic Quicktimes played perfectly. Thanks for the advice.

I'm doing a 1080i 29.97 project on a rental Avid Nitris DX. The client just asked if I can import new QT graphics with a codec called "microcasm". I have never heard of this codec and don't even know if it's spelled correctly. Anyone ever tried to import graphics with this codec? Can a Nitris DX do it? Any input is appreciated
