When I bought a laptop sevaral editors told me to choose foor HP instead of Dell (they had a lot of problems with Dell. I have now a HP 8710W for one and a half year. I bought it then for € 1600 ex VAT It is rocksteady during the time , really. There is now a newer model , so this model is mabye cheaper to get. I work with MC 3.0

A pity, I get very used to pick clip (red) and set the locater just before the clip to see if ihe clip is placed well. otherwise i can directly move it a bit etc. but thanks for the reply, Damiaan

segment mode: overwrite button stays active?

hello, I changed to Media composer. Is there a way that in the segment mode the yellow or red button (segment mode) stays activated? Every time when I activate en then scroll in the timelime the button is automatically set to 'non activated' I use the red one e.g. quit al lot. In Xpress Pro it stays untill you did de-activate it bij yourself

Probebly you have not the most legal version. Open in the menu above 'audience'and then 'import'. Then you will have them all.

Read all of the forums and there is no satisfying solution. How to stop the 'stop/play' colorshift'in the HP 8710W notebook computer? (it's a recommended system by Avid) Thanks Damiaan

Hey mister, Thanks! I knew the solutions. 1 and 3, Not number 2 I 'll go for numer 3. The only thing I hoped was when I made one matte key I could change the gradient level , (in Avid) for difrerent scenes. Anyway thanks and maybe I contact yoy soon for a sort of masterclass 'effects' (I spoke to you at the beurs in Hiversum in may)
