I am having the same issues with a project I am working on. I have a 40 minute nature documentary shot on HDV. The blu-ray version look spot on perfect, but when I go to export a quicktime ref into any mpeg encoder, (I have tried 4), the video has jaggies, especially on shots with tilts. How did you export your quictime movie? Was it a reference file

I have been having the same problem with HDV from a Canon XH-A1 using MC3 on a Vista system. Within a few seconds of starting the capture, I get the same, 'no signal present' message. I have spent hours trying to figure out what is going on. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling MC3. If anyone has any other idea, please share. I sure
