If you FTP to port 21 you are connecting directly into iNEWS (rxnet) so Linux users won't work.

I know this is an old post, but... Any field that shows up pink/purple in iNEWS means that the underlying story doesn't contain that field. How are you adding stories to the queue? If you insert a brand new story and see that in the grid area then it's probably because the story form and the queue form don't match. If you are copying stories
