It is yellow because it needs to be transcoded. Once the clip is transcoded it will not be yellow any longer. You just need to transcode it to the DNxHD codec. Right click the clip and follow the stetps. Hope this helps.

Export the file as a quicktime reference. If it is HDV, then do a video mixdown first, then as a quicktime reference. That is what I do.

Hello General, Thank you for replying. I don't think it is a corrupted media file, being that I encoded it using another setting. I do have "render all effects" and "flatten video tracks" selected. Mpeg 4 is the format that gets stuck.

Thank you all. I think you're right Douglas. i will just let Avid transcode it in it's DVD application. I am through trying to figure it out. Sincerely, you guys are all a huge help. Todd

Does anyone know, if you transcode it in sorenson. Then it transcodes in avid dvd. Does that mean it is transcoding the SAME video twice?
I tried QT hq and it imports fine. But, I prefer mpeg2 for dvd.
Nevermind on this. it adds the media with no error, but when you make the dvd, it still transcodes the video. Whats the point of having sorenson squeeze, if this is what happens?
