  • Marquee Scripts Crash Marquee

8.9.3 has broken Marquee. Trying to add a "Type On" script to a block of text crashes marquee. System: OSX 10.11.6 Mac Pro Late 2013 2.7GHz 12Core 64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 AMD FirePro D700

  • 8.9.3 Breaks Marquee Scripts

I think I've found a bug in 8.9.3. I'm a big fan of Marquee and use the type on script a fair bit. Now when you go to add the script to a block of text it say it doesn't reconise the sript. System: OSX 10.11.6 Mac Pro late 2013 2.7 GHz 12Core 64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC AMD FirePro D700 6144MB

  • Arri Workflow Problems

We're doing an Arri Alexa workflow where we AMA link to the ProRes 4444 then transcode to DNx 36 while adding a LUT. No problems. The problem occurs when we do an Auto Sequence of the DNx36 clips. The sequence it produces is linking back to the ProRes. The ProRes is still being linked to via the AMA bins. Is there a way to make the Auto Sequence

  • Re: XD Cam import into MC

Sorry I meant to say "We have a job coming up that WILL shoot 3000+ discs". I don't know where that "have" came from. Too early in the morning. Tim

  • XD Cam import into MC

Hi all Is there a trick to importing XDCam into MC at a resolution other than the source resolution? MC version 5 has the options available and although we have the right setting selected the resault is always the same. We're trying to import at 4:1m. We have a job coming up that will have shoot 3000+ discs and we're looking for a more robust

  • Re: Hue Wheels vs. Curves

And another tip to note. When using the wheels you don't have to put your cursor back on the cross to make an adjustment. Just click down anywhere in the circle and start moving. The sliders do the same thing but only while holding the shift key down. I just wish the cursor would disappear once on a slider. I'm always running out of screen room

This has been a great thread. It's good to know that we all agree on one thing, that we're all making the best out of some pretty bad software. I'm a bit fan of the hue wheels and have been using a Kensington Track Ball for all my grading functions. It's not ideal but it works for me. I work on a lot of reality TV and couldn't live

  • Hue Wheels vs. Curves

Hi All The other day I heard a follow Symphony Colourist state that technically Curves were a superior way to grade than the Hue Wheels. I got this second hand through my assistant so I'm a bit light on details as to what exactly was the problem with the wheels but in all my years grading I've never heard that there was any problem with either
