this is a company computer that is used for BPJ i know it worked ok but it can not find the DSR-500 I tried generic dv device and some sony settings but they do not have that setting on the pull down menu. thnaks

I have been given a laptop at work with avid xpress pro loaded in it . It I am trying to capture Video from a SONY DSR-500ws Camera. It has a Firewire but the avid does not see any input. Looked around the internet see this has been a problem, but can not seem to find a solution. has anyone solved this? Thanks

I have just installed 5.7.2 is it worth upgrading to 5.8 having trouble getting 5.7.2 to work properly.

I just upgraded to Xpress Pro from Xpress DV I now have the proper Quicktime I downloaded the right version. Now when Avid Initilizizing it get to Intializing open GL Effects and shuts down has any onehad this problem and how is it solved? Thanks

I just upgraded from XPress DV to XPress PRO when I start the program I get error message that Quicktime is not loaded it worked ok with DV . I removed and reloaded Quicktime same problem has anyone had this problem? Thanks Larry
