HI, Thanks for your help yesterday. I deleted project settings and the problem continues. I think it is the hard drive (new graid 1.5 tb) because the problem seems to come when accessing clips. I am wondering if it had to do with how I partitioned the drive into 6 and formatted it. It is formatted as Mac OS extended, partitioned into six drives of 232

The system worked fine as it is, with different hard drives. With this new hard drive, the system has run fine for about a month while I was only capturing. I suspect it might be the hard drive, because I starting to think that other programs don't run as well when the g raid is mounted. I will try deleting the settings and see if that helps. Thanks

Help please! I am trying to open an omf 2.0 with consolidated media in a folder (not embedded) in pro tools, and pro tools sees it has having media of 2 different sample rates (16 and 24) even though I have deleted all the 24 bit audio in the timeline. Anyone had this problem? Do I need to delete the 24 bit media in the bins as well? Thanks!!!

Hi! I just was captured video. I captured about 4 segments of 5 minutes, then the avid crashed/froze/spinning wheel in the middle of a capture. WHen I reopened none of the previously captured files were present in the bin, but they are on the hard drives. How do I get them in the bins? Or should I just delete them and start over? Hi, I just bought a 1.5 tb g-drive Q drive to use exclusively for media in Avid. Should I partition the drive? If so, to what size partitions? Is ok to do it in disk utility? as mac extended (journaled) or mac extended? Thank you in advance. I did search the forum but saw conflicting answers. Thanks.

Thank you. It's strange, I thought I had just applied those core effects "limiter" and "compressor." Now they don't appear at all, only on the segments where I previously placed them. otherwise, they are not a choice. I spoke to the sound editor and what I will do for now is just remove those effects and let him work on it
