I have used it successfully under windows vista (on bootcamp) and on mac osx. It comes with some cyberlink windows software suite too.

Plasma effects won't do it. I also used to be able to do a similar thing in AVID Liquid with HFX Pro (which I now no longer have)! I have tried doing it in red with no success - it does not seem to pick up the alpha on the images and I end up with an image on a white canvas moving across the video clips. I would like to see some form of background importing facility whereby I could continue to edit whilst files were ingested (especially avchd files) - just like FCP does with its log and transfer tool. I hate the fact that I have to wait while I import (even fast importing lots of clips transcoded to DNxHD elsewhere is a pain).

Thanks for your help BLKDOG. it would seem to be fixed now after using up my complimentary service access code (really disappointed that I had to use it up so early!). I used the code beginning GB... on the sticker to install BCC 6 AVX. When I try to input it into the dialog box it gives me an error code (it is typed correctly).
