As a member of the executive of the Avid Toronto User Group I'm saddened to see Brenda leave and wish her the best of luck where ever she ends up. I have been in touch with my contacts at Avid and there will still be complete support for the User Groups. Avid knows how important these groups are and is committed to them. Just have a little patience

Someone told me they did this but I can't figure out how... I want to add some custom transitions to the pulldown in the Disolve window. Is this possible and if so how? Thanks Kevin

I'm only at 2.7.3 and until I get our major project of the year of the system I'm reluctant to upgrade. When I do, I'll let you know if it is stil there. Thanks BLKDOG.

I don't know if this is a known bug but... Everytime I go into a project, the timecode at the top of the source/record monitors defaults back to frame count. It's very annoying. Anyone know how to fix it / is avid fixing it? Thanks

Hey guys. I've optimized them many times. I don't have an odd number of drives and no mirroring. This will cripple the suite (all workspaces) until the unity is rebooted - then it goes away for awhile.

Lately I've been getting alot of "Exception: There is not enough free space on this media drive" errors. I increase the size of my workspace to more than 100 times the size of the file I'm trying to import and it may import.
