your mbp has a fw 800 port get a drive for it

sounds bad but i bought a referbished dell m 60 just to download and reload my p 2 cards as my mbp didnt like to do it . got it on e bay 250.00 us

i found out the problem camera person recorded first day at 720 and the rest at 1080 now using a new camera person thanks for your suggestion

after loading some p2 footage i import them into a bin they all show up and when i click on one a error comes up " clip frame rate (59940)does not match the project frame rate (2997) the thing is that it is a 1080/5994 project with a standard raster any thoughts

i use a 1tb usb2 drive and a loptop to transfer all files to for use in my studio

i too have a few clients that only accept beta sp for commericials so rather than spend a ton of money for old tech i just have a dubbing house localy make copys and sp dubs from a firestore or a p2 card done deal charge the client and no old equipment on my shelf next to all my akai samplers or mini disc's or sd cameras 3 of them or beta sp bvw35

i to have done this and yes you can but you need to download the avid app for mac and use your dongle or you can run the windows pgm in parallels
