1080 25p project playout to 1080 50i - Titles question...

Hi, we've got an XDCAM EX project shot in 25p. We're onlining now in a 25p project but we're playing out to a 50i HDCAM SR. All looks good except the rolling titles at the end credits which look jerky - a result of the "p" i guess. My question is; because we are playing out 50i is there any way of creating titles in the sequence

Displaying clip timecodes in DS in explorer view...

Hi all, just a quick one to satisfy my curiosity really, i hardly ever use the DS we have and was diging some stuff in today and wanted to find the start and end clip timecodes for the clip i just captured without dragging it into the timeline ie. in the explorer window where the media destination folder is kept. i can see there's a "Details"

Everyone, thanks so much for all the replies, even once i'd changed all the reel names the nitris was still finding problems with some of the clips and because of time constraints we havent really had a chance to test too extensively. We ended up making uncompressed QT's of the clips and just dropping them in to get the job done on time. This

Ok, thanks jwrl, i've been going through my clips modifying them as you suggest and all seems well. The only thing i still dont get is where do the actual MXF media files take their names from? because as i change the source names in avid the media files on the HDD do not change to match the renamed sources? They still have this "restaurant"

I was under the impression that you can't create a QT reference file from MXF media, something to do with the Long GOP. I've been working on an HDV project and have been opening my MXF project bin in an SD project and transcoding to OMF media then exporting my QT reference. This works fine and gives nice results. I export into Sorenson Squeeze
