Another option - workaround really- would be to do a video mixdown in the MediaComposer before checking the sequence in for Protools - then continuing as you normally do ie: it creates another mixdown of the mixdown. Time consuming I know but should get you there. Mercedes

If you mount the drives in the correct order (the first time) in the ISIS client window and select them to remount then you can ensure that the workspaces appear with the correct letters at each subsequent login. Would this help? Mercedes

In this version when you select clips in Segment mode or if you go into effect mode the clip on the timeline turns purple and not pink as in our previous version. The purple is the same colour as when you have an in and an out marked and you have selected show marked region in the settings. This is confusing - is it possible to have different colours

We're in the testing phase before the upgrade so our test system is Interplay 1.5, ISIS 2 and MC 3.1.1 but we don't go llive with it for a fortnight

Unfortunately not! I closed all the windows but one - right clicked on type - deselected reference clips and rendered effects and hit OK. I then opened another tab (folder) and the rendered effects displayed - when I right clicked Type on this window all the items were selected again. Mercedes

Hi again, When I looked at the Set Type Filter more closely it doesn't do what the old Set Interplay window display did. It doesn't apply globally - it will hold for one folder but not for subsequent ones - you seemt o have to set each one individually. Another PS to Avid is: The help still tells you that you can set it under the Bin menu. Mercedes

We're just upgrading to MC 3.1.1 and the option to set the Interplay Window Display. In the earlier version if you had a bin selected and used the bin muenu you could set the bin display - that is the same in this version. In the earlier version if you then opened the Interplay Window and selected the bin menu that option changed from Set Bin Display

Hi - I'll throw in our workflow as another version of life. We didn't come from Unity so were a clean sheet going in to Interplay. Our projects are stored on an Isis but we don't share the projects. We check in to interplay using the 'Append Project' option on the Interplay folder so the project/bins are reflected in the folder structure

Hi, In color correction mode when I click on any of the three monitors and click on the Source menu I only get the list from Empty down to Second Next. I don't get the option for Quad Display or any of the scopes or waveforms. In some suites this is visible but not in this one - any ideas what I'm missing? Mercedes
