Have you tried AAF instead of OMF? AAf is the replacment for OMF.

AFAIK there was at one point an issue with Avid when trying to write to an NTFS drive with Paragon installed. It is a little strange you say you can render to this drive though. Rather than consolidate, can you copy the media files to the drive at the OS level? Then you could take your project to the PC without consolidating. All you would need to do

More info in this thread http://community.avid.com/forums/t/71270.aspx My issue was solved by updating to 5.1.3 on both server and client

If you select all projects in the media tool, they should show up.

I agree too. Used it on 4 or 5 projects already. One of the jobs I just finished involved taking about 15 videos I cut for a convention in native DVCProHD @ 23.97 and inserting them into the imag from the convention itself which was SD 30I. In the past, I had to master out to tape and recapture the tape into the SD project. This has been a real time

I do it all the time, with a different camera though. Have the camera hooked up like normal, start the capture tool with camera in VCR mode. Click on deck icon to turn off machine control. Assign something for tape name. Switch camera to camera mode and you should see a live image coming through the camera now. You need to watch out with later versions

I was working in a 30I project with a ton of stills. I would apply P&Z and start out at a Gaussian quality, render. Then when I stepped up to a higher quality and re render, the quality would never get better. Start from scratch on same image with Avid high quality and it would render high quality. Total hit or miss when this would happen, I cannot
