    You're close - "filename[0001..9999;4].ext" I like to do it this way "filename_[0001..9999;4].ext" The underscore gives a bit of seperation between the fileanme and all the numbers. The 0's are place holders until the count gets that high. The 9's are the highest it will go. The 4 is the number of places. Once you get

    Actually, it was avid who changed it. On a linear editor the mark out is not inclusive, so to a lot of us the DS was correct, but I know that everyone has their preference. I think Avid really dropped the ball in the interface department on this machine I agree, they shouldn't have tried so hard to make it look like a MC.
