Yeah, I really really don't want to have to do that. Think I'll stick with 4.0.2. for a while. Ra-ey

Todd, Welcome to the Avid Tutorial fold. Good to see these here as well as on Genarts. Ra-ey

[quote user="BarkinMadd"] I have to keep using the 182 driver for 4.0.3 as I found that the newer driver completely destroyed the OpenGL shader 4 for one of my apps (Vue 8 Infinite). Admittedly, there are many settings that I could have tweaked in the display driver to (perhaps) sort this out but for now, the driver shipping with 4.0.2 seems

Guys, I tried to install 4.0.3. but had a series of problems and ultimately had to roll back to 4.0.2. I did everything by the book - uninstall then install - but at the end of the install I got an error message saying the install had failed, when in fact it hadn't. I restarted, and everything appeared to be working well. I even installed the 190

Not really a life or death post, just an observation and praise. I haven't really had any need so far to use this new v4 feature, but today my boss asked me to test a new Frame Converter software. Seconded!!! I think a lot people would like this. It's asked for time and again. Until then Butcher, there's the BBC Make Alpha effect. I outlined how to use it in this thread (in case you don't know). http://community.avid.com/forums/t/76316.aspx Ra-ey

Douglas, Trust me I was tempted! I think the FluidMotion is probably the most confusing and badly described effect in the Avid arsenal. Which is a shame as it's so powerful. If you can get your head around it, that please share. Ra-ey
