There's no such thing as NTSC HD. NTSC is a standard def format.

This probably related to the different color spaces of HD (709) and SD (601). Because the formats work in different color spaces the corrections don't translate properly. Note - this is a guess on my part. Hopefully Bob Russo or one of the other Avid guru's can shed some light on this.

If the auto correction doesn't work you can try a manual approach. Compare the RGB parade display and use the curves tool to tweak the RGB levels on the bad shot. Once you have the RGB parades dialed in, they're both at the same relative level, then you can make the fine adjuments by eye. Since the bad shots are blue, the blue channel will be
