New HPZ400, new install of everything Avid. Question is, the machine came with Vista Business 64 SP1 on it, should I upgrade to SP2 for any reason or leave well enough alone?

Hopefully I'll get to testing the analog mojo with the Z400 machine this weekend. I found the recommended Dynex Pci-e FW card did not work at all in my z400, so I just bought a Pyro64 Pci-e card and so far it works just fine with MC4.02 and the Z400 using a Sony FW cam and a Sony DV deck. Mojo is up next.

I thought I read Mariana said they have a Z800 running with an analog Mojo. Not sure where the thread was, but I am sure of it. I'll be testing my z400 soon with the analog Mojo and will post results.

The problem is apparently with the FW card. The recommended Dynex Dx-Pc12Pf FW card does not work in my machine with ANY fw400 devices. Tried TRV-900, and GV-D800, neither work, and cause flamethrower and Assertion Failed errors. AN ANCIENT ADS Pyro card in the last PCI slot DOES work flawlessly however, for both devices. Haven't tried Analog Mojo

No, simple DV 25 single cam test for new system. Using Dedicated internal HDD for video files. TRV-900 is the only thing on FW card. No internal FW either.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give it a shot, as I use Premiere as a backup in case something goes terribly wrong with my Avid.
