Running both on my MacPro 2.8 with 6 gb of RAM. No problems so far running software only.

Please update us when as you go with 7.6.2. I wasn't paying attention and updated to this QT version yesterday on my 2.8 Mac Pro. I'll try to do the same as soon as I export something.

Well my enthusiam for all the new features of 3.5, including being able to have Pro Tools on the same drive has been quelled by the fact that my Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5 is not eligible to run the software. I guess it will be a while before I can buy a new computer and run the program. At least I can run it on my home system.

Thank you Avid. MC 3.5 can exist with Pro Tools 8 now, even though you cannot open them at the same time. I have been waiting for this one.

Tossed the MCstate and Site settings. Tossed the msm files and let them rebuild. Still getting the errors.

One more clue. I am getting these messages in succession upon closing Avid. I get these in succession as I am closing out Avid. I will try the MC State and Site settings.

I have had two consecutive crashes doing the same thing. I mapped out Add Edit to a key on my keyboard so I can tap in edits to a fast cut of music (I have been using this method since way back). Today I am getting the dreaded Bus Error when I try to perform this task. I repaired permissions between crashes but still got the same result. I am on a G5

Just looking for anyone who has and is willing to share their results. I'm not touching the 7.6 Quicktime with a 10 foot pole.
