I have a vague memory that Baklap once posted a consol command that changed the way the resize and P I P effect sampled the image, which in some circumstances improved the result. Can anyone remember this or know what the command was?

Just a thought but what is the video quality setting on your timeline, - I have a feeling that its not supposed to effect the output, but I know it does when you crash record. Switch it to the highest setting and see what happens. Video quality menu is the green/yellow or all yellow or all green rectangle at bottom left of the timeline.

Got to your Settings, click on Capture, then the - Omfi (or MXF) tab and you can see the maximum default capture time.

Yeah I set it for both of them and get the same thing. I cant find another adaptor at the moment - I am sure I have one somewhere FSP worked on the DVI outputs for the Samsungs

I have been using two Samsung Syncmaster 940BW wide screen monitors on my system, but the stands they came with are badly designed and have fallen apart. I decided to switch the monitors from an Express pro system, two LG Flatron M1917TM 4:3 models. I plugged them into the DVI outputs from the Nvidia Geforce 7950GT card. That must be it. So just to be clear if I have a timeline open, with only one audio track selected, as I subclip from the source monitor it only carries one audio track over? And likewise if I have deselected the video in the timeline, the subclips dont have any video. I just tried it and it seems to be the case. Useful now I know it, but a pain to

Anyone know how I maanged to do this. I captured a 20 minute interview. Then I went through it and pulled out the bits of sync I wanted and subclipped them. The audio is on channel 2, channel 1 is just the camera mike. I did this for 6 different interviews. Now I find that half of the sub clips have both channels , but half of them only have channel

Problem solved - Found a download on another computer.

the wayyou have your time line set up you arent monitoring V2, which is where your PIP are. click on the box on the right of V2 and you will see your PIP.
