  • Re: exporting a collapse track with alpha

I do something similar (I think): V1 is my program's sequence. V2 thru V5 (for instance) is the stack I want to combine. Select V5 and set in & out points. Perform mixdown/video, choose bin. You should get a master clip containing All V2 thru V5 items. Then just replace the stack with the new master clip or export the stack. Hope this helps

  • Re: Flatten video tracks

Yes, Bruno. That is what's been happening to V1. Adman's response seems to solve the issue.

  • Flatten video tracks

This should be simple but I can't figure out how to do it. Assuming that I have a master track, V1. I've built up 3 additional video tracks on a portion of V1. I know I can collapse V2-V4 but I don't know how to make that behave like a Master Clip for the purpose of adding an effect to that stack, for instance a Picture-in-Picture. Any thoughts

When I try to play it I get: VDM3_VideoInputCvtr::ExecuteRequest: Unexpected state. and the clip does not play. I tried to consolidate which seemed to work but it still gave the same error

  • Avid Link ... Unavailable

I have MC 2018.12.2 installed on 2 systems. Using Avid Link, I deactivated it on system 1. Opened Avid Link on system 2 and it shows it the status field as unavailable, even though the system i.d. and Activation i.d. are correct. The Activate button has no effect. This came out of the blue as I had been using system 2 no more than a half-hour ago. Any

  • Re: Delete with Media Tool doesn't delete

The media files do delete when I delete from the bin and the master clips remain, just like I want. The issue is when I delete from the media tool, all of the boxes offered are checked, I press delete and the media tool shows as empty but the media remains. I can select "reveal file" in the bin and it is still on the system until I delete

  • Delete with Media Tool doesn't delete

While cleaning out my media drive using the Media Tool, I noticed that it is not deleting actual media files, just pre-computes, titles etc but not the video or audio files. I open the media tool, select all drives, current project and check all 5 boxes. This takes me to the media tool listing and I select all then delete. I have to delete the media
