Hi AFAIK - the ATTO NS12 uses Intel chip, so i suspect it will preform the same as the Intel NIC. if you can get a diffrent card other than the Intel, and your infrastructure is optical, i think it will be wiser to just get the Myricom, which works great.

I can confirm the TC issue. we tested the same XAVC S clips in MC 8.9.1, Sony Catalyst Browse, Resolve and SCRATCH. Only MC shows a start TC of 00:00:00:00... all other software shows the correct start TC.

Don't do it. i have tested it on our lab system, it doesn't work. ISIS will not use drives that don't have Avid firmware. The LSI Raid controller 'maybe' don't care. but the ISIS software does care. Thanks. we plan to go up to about 24 clients, (first switch is 20 ports after reducing the 4 ports needed for the engine) but only 3 clients are doing Writes, and all other are just Read. we are working in XDCAM 35 1080i/50 single stream. according to the ISIS Perormence guide - each XDCAM 35 stream is 5 MB/s, so even with 3 clients doing Writes and

Hi We have an ISIS 5000 system conected to a Force10 s25 switch via 4x1Gbe. We have the need to expand the switch in order to add more clients. if i will connect another s25 switch with the stack module, does this force me to switch to 10Gbe between the ISIS and the switch? I know that 4x1Gbe is supported only with a single engine, but is it supported

Hi I remember that with ISIS 5000– upgrade to the latest version was free even if I was out of support. Is this the case with Nexis E4 as well? Thanks Dori
