Hi Got a project shot on PAL XDCAM SD IMX 40. after batch importing the HIRES files, i see a thin black line at the left and right sides of the frame. i compared it to some DV footage that was captured on 2:1 and some graphic that was impored as 2:1 also. The DV and the graphic make the frame "full" and i don't see the black lines. it's

Hi I got a series shot on XDCAM SD IMX 40. the workflow was the standard proxy import for offline and batch import the hi-res for online. when i export an AAF to protools i'm getting missing clips on the AAF. when i import that AAF back into avid - all is ok, but when i import it into Protools, some clips are just missing and i'm getting nothing

Hi anyone know what is the recomended storage to run footage shot on XDCAM IMX 40? Does a single drive with f/w 800 or esata is enough? or should i use some kind of raid in order to do it? i can work without any problem on a footage shot 2:1 with a single f/w 800 drive. what is the bandwith of 2:1? is it less or more than IMX 40? Hi Can i somehow configure Avid to a 3 min play length by default? it's 1 min for now, and if you want to change it you can type a conslole command, but it's only good untill the next time i exit and re-lunch the software. any chance of making this setting a user profile setting?

Hi i got an issue for advanced XDCAM HD users. i am using Avid media composer 3 for an Xdcam hd multicamra project the footage is recorded to 3 XDCAM HD vtr's. whenever i import proxy Xdcam media into Avid, the Avid always give the file it's original name, but not the title name. is there any way of controlling one of this 2 options: 1. change
