working with p2 footage that was copied to a hard drive in the field- brought back and a pa transcribed the footage - imported into avid media composer (mac) but the footage was not consolidated to our edit share at that time. now 2 weeks later i imported the footage to a new bin- and two of the cards only show one clip. when i look at the hard drive

i am currently working on a project that is being shot on hdcam and p2 at 1080i 24p and the client wants to include footage that was shot on a hd flip camera. can i just import the flip footage and use in the same timeline with the 1080i? i see the flip records in 720. has anyone worked with footage froom a flip camera? should i transcode the footage

both edit systems give the same error

I have checked and i have read write permission - does anyone know what mac error -5000 is? or could it be something with the edit share?

help! backed up project and now i want to delete all the media- using media tool - comes up with mac error -5000 incorrect acces. i am using an edit share and i think i could delete project space from there but i thought it would be safer from the media toll. any suggestions on the best way to delete media before starting a new project?

i have a mc 2.8 that i run on my desk -but i'm traveling and i'm trying to install my software on my mac- When trying to install my mc 2.7 or 2.8 on my macbook pro- (bootcamp side) when i go to open the media composser it comes up with an error (can't find any audio cards in my system) this error also comes up if on load on the mac side
