Perhaps it was your import settings? perhaps the import settings were set to non-interlaced?

onsolidate your MASTER CLIPS and not your sequence. this will bring over all the media.

Most likely when Sony builds the AMA Plugin. "New" camera formats are going to be supported by the AMA archetecture. The responsibilty of the plugin development is put on the camera manufacturer for the Avid AMA feature.

Haven't tried it myself... does ALT+Drag the effect icon to the clip work? if so, then you can enter red-arrow segment mode, click on the clips you want to apply the effect to - then ALT+double-click on the effect.

you have to turn off the AMA setting and relaunch the program for it to stick. you get mount all back but you loose AMA functionality.
