Very strange situation happening. Got a new laptop and loaded Avid MC and the Studio toolkit (Sonic V6.0) Was using it with normal expected results. All of a sudden when I do a simulate, the simulate monitor does not appear. It is playing because you hear audio and the menus are grayed out. F9 gives the full screen display and again lets me access menu

not sure what I was doing after a lengthy render I saved a complex marquee animation to a bin using fast save . Of course now the media is OFFLINE but it rendered all 1400 tiff files. How do I get the media ONLINE in MC so I don;t have to render the title again Thanks Dave

Is there a way to add a clip to an existing group of clips for multicam editing? I have a group of two clips cam1 and cam2. For the entire seq Cam1 id comprised of three clips and Cam2, two clips. I am dying here. I have a 90 minute video shot in HDV. I tried to do a Transcode so I can send to Sorrenson and burn a DVD. Trying to do it any other way and quality suffers tremendously for example: (convert to NTSC, then export DV stream) terrible quality. Thanks. The quality looks pretty good and it's a fast encode. I can't seem to get the widescreen though. I checked the 16:9 option when exporting from MC, but when brought into sonci, the option to change the aspect ratio to 16:9 is grayed out and 4:3 is only available

I have MC SW 2.8.1 and Avid Studio Toolkit. It also came with Sorenson 4.5 I shot using a Sony HDV camcorder model HVRZ1u I have tried multiple decodes, transcodes, etc but none them produce what I feel is acceptable quality on the final DVD.
