Well, I guess what I'm asking is if I go through and upgrade tomorrow, wll I miss any important bug fixes, etc. Snow Leopard in and of itself isn't that important to me. But systems that are functioning as best as they possible can are. I have Four Media Composers, one Symphony, and a Unity to be upgraded. He's going to upgrade and perform

I would just like to point out that I took an Avid online survey a few days ago, and I was astonished when I received a phone message from a real person telling me how helpful my survey reply was, addressing some of the concerns i expressed on the survey, and leaving a name and number to call him back if I wanted to talk about my survey response or

You'll have to go into Avid FX and once you're in that interface, in the library browser window, look through the DVE transitions. It's in there, not in the effects pallette. Good Luck.
$2500 is not "insane".
It's "insanely" low for what you get IMO. In fact, if it wasn't so low, there probably wouldn't be any threads like this one.

Try double clicking the PIP clip while in segment mode, and apply the cc effect to the fill layer. Good Luck!
